I never saw so many foreign flags during a so-called “US peaceful protest!” I’m unsure what the liberal news media and other Democrat politicians are watching on the news; maybe they all need glasses! One news anchor thinks the kids are just having fun burning cars! Would they still feel that way if it were their car? Note that I am not advocating for setting their vehicle on fire, as that would be wrong.
Mayor Bass Response
Now, onto Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom. After the LA fires, instead of working with Trump, they blamed him for not supporting climate change. They never blamed themselves for not having enough water or managing the forests. The Santa Ynez reservoir had not been collecting water for almost a year. It was not scheduled to be fixed until February 2025. Having access to this water could have saved some houses from burning. After all, LA is prone to fires, and this was not the first one. Plus, she cut millions of dollars from the Fire Department, which was already understaffed.
Her city is burning down again! She now says the LA protests were peaceful until federal immigration enforcement intervened. To assess the safety of LA, I searched for its crime analysis online. Crime in LA is 29.7% higher than the national average. Oh, but no worries, she said, the protests are only within a few blocks of LA. If things are so peaceful, why did she put a curfew in place? What will happen to the businesses that are being looted and defaced? Who will pay for this? She is already asking for help to clean up the mess she helped cause. Next week, she will likely request federal funding to repair the damage.
Governor Newsom Response
A few months ago, Governor Newsom launched a website dedicated to combating disinformation and started a podcast. He wants to prepare to run for president, even though he says he is not planning to run. On his podcast, he hosts conservative guests to help him understand the MAGA movement and to aid his election efforts. Wouldn’t his time be better spent addressing his state’s high crime rates, forests, and deficit before running for president? Trump warned that he needed to fix the water shortage and clean up the forest years ago! He was told to prepare, yet he didn’t
Now he is suing Trump for peaceful protests. If they were so calm, why would he lie about taking a call from the President about the protesting? Just like he lied to a constituent that he was on the phone with the president during the LA fires. Does he not realize that cell phones keep track of missed and recent calls? Then he goes on to suggest that the riots are all because of January 6, and that Trump supports violence. January 6th should not have happened; however, people were not looting businesses and burning down Washington.
What happened to “The buck stops with me?” Can’t wait to see your presidential ads with rioters waving foreign flags and captions like “Newsom for President.” And if he thinks his primary running mates will not bring it up, he should think again. They want the job as much as he does. Like Mayor Bass, he will ask for federal money. He needs it to pay for all the damage he could have helped stop.
Who are the Rioters
Who are the rioters? Are they American citizens or illegal immigrants? I have no idea, but I’m not sure how waving foreign flags is fighting for America. I even saw some reporters interviewing the protesters. They weren’t even protesting ICE. They were protesting to take back California land that belongs to them.
Who is organizing these protests? Someone is bankrolling them, for bionic shields don’t just show up at peaceful protests. Where did all the rocks come from to throw at cars? Were they lying on the street and bridges? It would be interesting to know how well-organized these protests are. Could it be the federal government? I’m not saying they are doing this deliberately. They wouldn’t know because they have no clue where the money goes.
Will Newsom be President
Will Newsom get the presidential nomination? Maybe, but he could have increased his odds of being nominated if he had stopped the riots. He could have just said peaceful protesting is allowed. He should have made it clear that anyone who loots, blocks traffic, burns, or vandalizes anything would be punished. That would have been a great campaign ad. But instead, he decided to bring up January 6th and how Trump supports violence.
Will the Democrats support him? Democrats are seeking a new leader, but what kind of leader do they want? Do they want to continue down the same path as the last 4 years? At what point does the public say enough?
Everyone should be allowed to protest. It is your right, but no one has the right to destroy people’s businesses or vandalize a city. I don’t care if it’s several blocks; it should never happen. If it does, those individuals must be held accountable, pay for the damage, and face jail time. It’s unfair to the American people who follow the rules to pay for the actions of others.
As I always say, do your research before your vote. You’ll be surprised at what you find!
